Eastman Guitars
Eastman Guitars are 100% handmade.
Eastman's master luthiers begin with select, seasoned tonewoods.
Their workshops have virtually no power tools aside from the band saws used to cut out the necks and the outlines of the tops and backs of instruments. Chisels, knives, gouges, and scrapers are the primary tools used to create them.
Eastman's luthiers are well-known for the quality of their hand-applied spirit varnish. Eastman has perfected a finish that enhances both the beauty and tone of the instrument.
To create this attractive finish, Eastman luthiers use spirit varnish and finish with two coats of lacquer.
Eastman also uses only the finest components like Schaller, Grover, and Gotoh Tuners, Kent Armstrong Pickups, Tone Pros Bridges, and high quality handmade tailpieces.
These guitars are handmade, and hand carved, with no pressed tops or laminate tops.
Each guitar comes with its own Eastman hardshell case.
